Londoners Earl Grey Tea | Darjeeling & Bergamot

The Darjeeling base makes a real difference here, it's lighter and more floral than the usual brisk blends, and the bergamot comes through without tasting like soap. Two minutes steeped and it's my new afternoon cup.

I've been drinking Earl Grey for years, and the bergamot here is noticeably more delicate than the oily, perfume-heavy stuff in grocery store tins. The Darjeeling keeps it bright instead of bitter, even when I forget and let it steep a minute too long. Genuinely the nicest cup I've had in a while.

The Darjeeling base gives it that soft floral depth you don't usually find in earl grey, and the bergamot sits on top without turning bitter. I've been brewing it a little longer than the suggested time and it still stays smooth, which is rare. This is my new afternoon ritual.
